Additional information about the New Markets Tax Credit program can be found on the website of the CDFI Fund: www.cdfifund.gov.
In the top left corner of the CDFI Fund website, click on What We Do. Then click on Overview of What We Do, and New Markets Tax Credit Program. The latter page provides extensive descriptions of the program, including the authorizing statute and regulations, application materials, and information about past awards. It also provides a link to the CDFI Fund’s mapping system for determining whether a census tract is eligible as a low income community.
